BiScopic Protection (BSP)
Three Dimension Motion Detection (TDMD), BiScopic Protection is comprised of two vertically-aligned IR micro bolometer cameras linked by a unique software system. It provides accurate and reliable detection of targets with the ability to estimate their size and location (azimuth, distance and height above ground) in a passive manner. Three-dimensional representation of the scenery provides accurate and reliable detection with a high Pd, while maintaining a low false alarm rate (FAR). Magna’s patented algorithm, NFAR (Negligible False Alarm Rate), makes an accurate estimation even when targets are as small and far away as to fill a single pixel on the camera.
